Scouting Suspended 16/03/2020

In the light of today’s Government Bulletin, we have formally suspended ALL Scouting activities in Surrey Heath that are face to face. This includes all Section Meetings, Leader Meetings and any trips/camps.

It’s clear that this is a very serious situation, and we as Scout Leaders and members of our local communities need to recognise that Scouting cannot be considered ‘essential’.

We are hopeful that the quicker we can achieve social distancing the more effectively this virus can be brought under control. By halting Scout activities we are demonstrating how serious this issue is.

We will let you know when we can begin to offer Scouting Section Meetings and other activities again within our District.

Who we are

We are Surrey Heath Scouts an active, thriving District, located in North West Surrey.

We change lives by offering 6- to 14-year-olds fun and challenging activities, unique
experiences, everyday adventure and skills for life.

Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential. We help young people
to get jobs, save lives and even change the world.

What’s on

There’s always loads going on in Surrey Heath, from meetings for young people almost every day of the week to camps, activities and adventures every weekend.

These can be from a Beaver’s first night away from home all the way to an Explorer climbing their first mountain.
